From the shadows of Finland- This cat doesn't live anymore

There is a really powerful tie in with these four pictures to Murukami and 'The Wind-up Bird Chronicles' as there's a big part about him losing his cat. I'd explain but it takes the whole book to get what it really means.

Ace pictures. Especially on the first in how it's blurred in the top left corner. Makes it feel like you've just woke up and are looking at them. Well, I am, but I'm sure my eyesight is fine.

Hyvää iltaa.

Thank you Lewis! I kinda found these pictures, that I took ages ago, again and even though they don't really look similar to Andrei Tarkovsky's polaroids, I think they got the same feel. Kinda rural, old fashioned, photographing your surroundings. Those photographs make me think of the war time Finland, and even though it was poor and not so happy time to live in, there is something very romantic about that era.

Really have to read that book. Still got it. Just say if you need it back. And had to put the cat comment there. He past away this summer. What a great cat he was and what a character he had!

I am really impressed about your language skills! And hyvää päivää to you!
