D&AD

On Wednesday we had a meeting with Allison and Matt about D&AD. We continued to sketch together on a big paper, following our last session. This time we where more focused on a set theme. What we decided to do was to approach the brief from a historical point of view. We where looking at the area where the building is located and the island is called The Island of Dogs. There are debates how the island got its name. Some say it used to have wild dogs, others thing the word was lost and it was actually The Island of Duck. We used this interesting piece of history and worked on the drawing dogs and ducks.

Our session was not as successful as the past one. It seemed, that everyones mind was already on FMP and because we had had a rather long gap, ( working intensively with our websites ) it was hard to come back and get to the working mode. In a way it seemed like we had to start all over again. Because our group sketching was not successful enough, we decided to go our separate ways and develop the idea ( of dogs and dogs ) individually and meet next wednesday to see the results. This is a project we need finish rather quickly to be able to focus on our Final Major Project.
